Stays: your name, address, contact details, dates of stay and other information the law requires for the guest register (for foreign nationals, this includes nationality and passport number)
Business and partnership enquiries: the contact person's name, company name, contact details and the content of the enquiry
Remote Mac rental and hosting: your name, contact details, billing information and account details for remote access

If you book a stay through a booking site such as Booking.com, the information you give at booking is handled under that site's privacy policy. We receive booking information only as far as needed to provide your stay.

To answer your enquiries and contact you
To provide accommodation and meet legal duties such as keeping the guest register
To communicate about and perform business agreements
To provide remote Mac rental and hosting, issue access details and maintain the service
To prevent misuse and keep the website and the machines we provide secure

4. Sharing with third parties

Except where required by law, we do not give personal information to third parties without your consent.

5. Service providers and processing outside Japan

As far as needed for the purposes above, we have the following providers handle personal information on our behalf:

Website delivery and protection against unauthorized access (including Cloudflare Turnstile): Cloudflare, Inc. (United States)
Sending contact form emails: Resend (United States)
Receiving and managing email: Lark

These providers may process information on servers outside Japan, such as in the United States. For information on other countries' data protection systems, see the website of Japan's Personal Information Protection Commission. We confirm that our providers take appropriate security measures.

6. Security

To prevent leaks, loss or damage of personal information, we take necessary and appropriate measures such as access control, encrypted communication and supervision of our providers.

7. Cookies

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to stop abusive submissions of the contact form, which may use information about your browser. We may also use analytics tools to understand how the site is used; in that case, browsing information is collected through cookies in a way that does not identify you.

8. Requests for disclosure, correction or deletion

If you ask us to notify you of the purpose of use, or to disclose, correct, add to, delete or stop using personal data we hold about you, we will confirm your identity and respond without delay as required by law. Please contact us using the details below.

9. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy when laws or our business change. A revised policy takes effect when it is posted on this page.
